This book is the second to be published by the European Strategy Forum. Based on a conference on the EU and China, which the Forum organised in Ponte de Lima in May 2007, it consists of seven substantial essays on key aspects of EU-Chinese relations. As Peter Ludlow writes in the introductory chapter, relations between the EU and China have changed, are changing and will continue to change at an extraordinary speed.
